General terms and conditions of sale (GTCS)

The online booking website wwww.jlcseasonrentass.com is operated by the sole proprietorship JLC Seasonal Rental Assistance, registered in the National Register of Companies under number 979 707 320, with its registered office at 32 Castello Rosso, Ruppione, 20166 Pietrosella.

Preamble - Definitions

1.1 ‘Customer’ refers to any user who browses, learns about and books holiday accommodation offered on the site.

1.2 ‘Holiday accommodation’ refers to any seasonal rental offered on the site.

1.3 ‘Site’ refers to the infrastructure developed by the Manager in accordance with the computer formats usable on the Internet, comprising data of various kinds, and in particular text, sound, still or animated images, videos and databases, intended to be consulted by the Customer to find out about these short-term rentals and services.

1.4.’ Internet’ refers to various networks of servers located in different places throughout the world, linked together using communication networks, and communicating using a specific protocol known as TCP/IP.

1.5 ‘Online booking’: An online booking is the manifestation of the Customer's wish to respond to an offer made on a website.

Article 1 - Application of the general terms and conditions of sale 

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all bookings made via the Website. They take precedence over any other stipulation, written or otherwise, made by the customer, in compliance with the rules established for contracts concluded electronically.

All bookings imply full acceptance of these booking conditions, subject to any special conditions written by the manager at the time of booking. Acceptance and confirmation of the booking are established by the entry of the customer's details on the registration pages; these details appear on a summary screen with an explicit request for the customer's firm commitment before accessing the payment platform.

Confirmation of the booking by the customer constitutes an electronic signature of these general terms and conditions of sale.

These general terms and conditions of sale may be subject to change. In this case, the conditions applicable to the contract concluded by the customer will be those in force on the Website at the date of the reservation. The Customer declares that he/she has full legal capacity to enter into a commitment under these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions only apply to Customers who are natural persons, not traders, who confirm their reservation exclusively via the Internet.

Article 2 - Booking 

The reservation you make is strictly personal and may not be transferred to a third party.

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation, in which case you will be informed by return e-mail.

Your booking will only be definitive once we have sent you confirmation by e-mail and received the required deposit.

Any reservation implies that the Customer accepts these general terms and conditions of sale without restriction or reservation.

The reservation will only take effect on receipt of the deposit.

Any reservation implies acceptance of the prices, rules and description of the accommodation available for seasonal rental.

Any use(s) of promotional code(s) outside the context of the agreed rules will be automatically cancelled by the company. It is strictly forbidden to combine promotional codes for the same request. The company JLC SRA reserves the right to accept or cancel a promotional code if its use is abusive or contravenes the rules of the current promotion.

Article 3 - Validity of the reservation request 

A summary of the booking before final validation will be made available to the Customer so that he/she can check the accuracy of the data entered and correct any errors made. In all cases, the online provision of the bank card number and the final validation of the booking request will constitute proof of the completeness of the said booking in accordance with the provisions of the law of 13 March 2000 and will constitute payment of the sums involved in the booking.

This validation shall constitute signature and express acceptance of all operations carried out on the site.

However, in the event of fraudulent use of the credit card, the customer is invited to contact the customer service department at [email protected].

The computerised registers, kept in the computer systems of the manager's host, will be considered as proof of communication, reservations and payments between the parties.


It is expressly agreed that, unless there is an obvious error on the part of the manager, the data stored in the information system of the manager's accommodation provider has evidential value with regard to the reservations made by the Customer.


Data on a computer or electronic medium constitutes valid evidence and as such is admissible under the same conditions and with the same evidential value as any document drawn up, received or kept in writing on paper.
Booking forms and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium in such a way as to correspond to a faithful and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.

Article 4 - Cancellation of reservations

Cancellation policies depending on the owner of each holiday rental offered on the site, there may be different cancellation policies:
No refund: no refund is authorised.
Strict: 100% refund 60 days before arrival; no refund after 60 days.
Firm: 100% refund 60 days prior to arrival; 50% refund 30 to 60 days prior to arrival.
Moderate: 100% refund 30 days prior to arrival; 50% refund 14 to 30 days prior to arrival.
Soft: 100% refund 14 days before arrival; 50% refund 7 to 14 days before arrival.

Article 5 - Terms of payment 
5.1 Prices

Prices are given in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They include the VAT applicable on the day of booking.

5.2. Payment
The Customer has the choice of paying for the booking online:
- By credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- By bank transfer
- In 3 instalments free of charge by credit card up to 1 month before your arrival, firm cancellation (Contact us)
- In 3 free instalments by bank transfer up to 1 week before your arrival, non-refundable (Contact us)

5.3. Debit
At the time of booking, only a credit card imprint is taken.
The card is debited when the payment is confirmed.The information is sent to the bank and cannot be cancelled.
As part of the fight against Internet fraud, information relating to the customer's reservation request may be transmitted to any third party authorised by law or designated by JLC SRA for the sole purpose of verifying the customer's identity, the validity of the reservation and the method of payment used.

All payments are in euros.JLC SRA reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel a booking of any nature whatsoever in the event of total or partial non-payment, fraud or attempted fraud.

Article 6 - Your stay


Any stay that is interrupted or cut short by you, for whatever reason, will not be reimbursed.

Late arrivals due to boat or plane schedules must be notified to us.

Disturbances are forbidden and silence must generally be maintained between 11pm and 7am.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety of children (if they are allowed) in the rented accommodation.

The manager reserves the right to terminate the holiday immediately, without compensation or indemnity, in the event of non-compliance with the house rules.

Lateness: any lateness of more than 24 hours without any warning on your part will result in automatic cancellation of the contract. In this case, we will retain payment for the stay.

Absence: during the stay, days of absence will not be deducted.

Insurance: It is the tenant's responsibility to take out personal insurance against any risk of theft or loss of personal items, as the owner of the property cannot be held responsible under any circumstances. In addition, the tenant will be required to have civil liability insurance.

House rules :

In general :

- Extra mattresses are not allowed in the rentals.

- Dogs, if authorised or tolerated in the chosen accommodation, may not be left alone.

- Category 1 and 2 dogs are not permitted in any of the rental properties.

- The vehicle must be parked in the car park provided.

- A tourist tax will be levied per day and per person over 18 years of age, the cost of which will vary depending on whether or not the chosen accommodation is classified.

Specific house rules for each accommodation:

The house rules differ from one rental to another. When you make your booking request, you must accept the specific rules.

Consumer ombudsman:

In accordance with articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may have recourse to a Consumer Ombudsman within one year of submitting a written complaint to our customer service department. Subject to article L.152-2 of the French Consumer Code, you may submit a request for an amicable resolution by mediation with CM2C.

Article 7 - General conditions for booking rental accommodation :


1- The booking request you make online acts as a contract.
2- Rentals are generally available on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, with a minimum of x nights for some off-season rentals (for most rentals, arrival: 4 pm - departure: 10 am).
3- A deposit is required to confirm your stay, the amount varying according to the type of accommodation required, with the balance to be paid before your arrival on a pre-defined date.

4- No reduction will be granted for late arrival or early departure.

5- On your arrival, a deposit will be held on your credit card until 7 days after your departure (amount communicated according to the accommodation).

6- On your departure, we will carry out an inventory of fixtures and fittings and reserve the right to retain all or part of the deposit if any damage is found.

7- Cleaning on departure is usually included in the price, but we would ask you to leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy condition (dishes done and put away, dustbins emptied, bedding and bathroom fittings in order).

8- Daily cleaning and laundry service available at your expense.
9- For ‘early morning’ departures, the key must be left in the designated area, depending on the accommodation.

10- For late-night arrivals, we will agree on where to collect the keys.

11- Discounts are possible, depending on the accommodation, per week of stay from the 2nd week in the same accommodation.

12- Pets are not accepted in all rentals.
13- Possibility of loaning baby equipment (cot, bath bouncer, high chair, etc.) Please ask when you register.

14- Linen generally provided. (Sheets and towels)
